Botanic Designs

By adamgrant | February 22, 2010

We are always inspired by new designers that we are introduced to at id couture. Recently we came across a new jewelry designer, Michelle Pujol. Michelle tastefully introduces all the elements of nature into her unique designs.

With the use of silver and gold Michelle manages to create one off pieces that capture the imagination and really break ground for contemporary jewelry design. Inspired by cascading flowers and bursts of color Michelle’s most recent collection is playful and captures the essence of fashion as art.

The Modern Curl

By adamgrant | February 08, 2010

Often we are asked to comment on what is a modern formal hairstyle, and to be quiet honest these days the formal hair style has evolved to incorporate the individuals personality. Personally we her at id couture like the look of sexy loose curls. Nothing overly rigid or done, but take a carefree approach to the curl. Think a relaxed curl that has been finished with a light mist of high gloss spray and just falls beautifully.

Winter Essentials

We all understand that when new winter arrivals reach the floors of our favorite retailers, the Australian temperature may be a little slow to catch on. In this instance we suggest you look for and select key pieces that will be your wardrobe essentials for the new season.

We love the swing jacket that has a slight nod towards military, which will be available in the boldest of colors thanks to Karen Walker. Also soon to be popular again will be the tulip skirt and body con dresses that will flatter all shapes.
