Why don’t men dress up anymore?

This question has had me stumped for quite sometime now, have we all of a sudden not been inspired to take a step forward with our style and purchase that fitted blazer or wear a suit for no special reason.

The art of dressing for men has often been on the list of unimportant priorities for the lads, and for some reason I can’t understand why. So many times we have watched our girlfriend, sisters or female friends scan over many an outfit, style or dress code in preparation for a night out, and deal with the question “Do I look good?” or “Am I over dressed” yet those sentiments never seem to cross our minds after we have found a clean T shirt and an ok looking pair of jeans whilst slipping on a pair of leather shoes and anticipating the first sip of beer for the night.

Alas there has been a breakthrough! With the popularity of the hit television program Gossip Girl, the boys including my circle of friends have been inspired to step it up in the fashion stakes, and who better to show us how it is done than the team at Jack London.

Most recently the Jack London label showed a cool collection of well tailored suiting and separate jackets to add polish to gentleman of any age. We saw clean lines and well cut shapes that flatter all male body shapes. The use of well fitted shirting and flat front pants gave the realm of suiting a breath of fresh air.

Now I can hear the moans already, why would I wear a suit or jacket when I
I‘m not at work? And I simply reply by saying why not? I challenge you to embrace the tailored style and see how much of a difference you will receive when out and about.

If you are looking to update your suit for work, then I suggest you look no further than the new winter collection from Jack London.
