Oh how I love a little bit of hair accessory. I almost feel naked without it. So I was very excited to find these little Alannah Hill treasures and had to share them with you.

Having a little ornament on your head breaks down the dreary winter greys and blacks in your wardrobe and creates a sense of excitement and energy to your look.

Whether you opt for a hat or a headband really depends on your personal style, the shape of your head, your hair style and the shape of your face.

If you have a more rounder face I recommend a more angular headpiece for, for oval faces anything is possible, heart shaped looks best with a more rounder softer style and if you want to add height go for anything that is not flat.

What colours you ask? I always recommend creating a little bit of contrast to your hair colour, however if you do love tone on tone make sure there is texture to add interest.
