If there is one piece of clothing that will flatter any figure, it is the A-Line skirt. A classic yet completely on-trend option, the garment combines sophistication with simplicity and femininity, and is an absolute godsend for women who are at all bottom-heavy. In fact aside from the corset, I don’t think there is a single piece of clothing that can solely create a more feminine silhouette than the a-line skirt. The a-line skirt is the perfect option to carry you through the seasons. In a darker shade, the a-line can be worn in winter with stockings, ballet flats or heels, and a jacket or cropped cardigan. Alternatively, a lighter and fresher coloured a-line paired with a tank or singlet top and sandals is the perfect outfit for a lovely spring or summers day…and with Melbourne Cup coming up, there is no better option!
